doomscroll.fyi's whole design is that your data never leaves your browser.
What doomscroll.fyi stores: minutes of feed time, number of site opens, posts scrolled past, posts you publish, and your settings. All of it lives in Chrome's local extension storage on your device. doomscroll.fyi has no servers, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.
What doomscroll.fyi sends: the only network request doomscroll.fyi ever makes is a license check to ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com), the payment service that handles subscriptions. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe; doomscroll.fyi never sees them. No browsing data, no page content, and no usage statistics are ever transmitted anywhere.
Where doomscroll.fyi runs: only on x.com, twitter.com, linkedin.com, instagram.com, youtube.com and substack.com, and you can switch any of them off in the popup.
Data deletion: uninstalling the extension deletes everything it stored. There is nothing to delete anywhere else, because nothing was ever sent anywhere else.
